“…and then, I have nature and art and poetry, and if that is not enough, what is enough?” (Vincent van Gogh)

We welcome the joyful landscapes of guest artist Denise Bustraen, a Moose Cree First Nation artist who has recently made Rice Lake her home. Denise’s vibrant paintings in Gallery 2 add to the pulsation of Spring Fever. Bask in the colours and brilliant sunlight bouncing off the walls throughout the gallery. Fill your spirit with pleasure.

SPRING WORKSHOP
NEEDLE FELTING with BEX BRUNEAU

THURSDAY, APRIL 23, 2026
CAG is pleased to present our first workshop of 2026. We welcome back Bex Bruneau and her magical manipulation of felt to create sculptural form.
Bex Bruneau, is a multi-media artist based in Trenton Ontario. She has been a guest artist at CAG’s final season show since 2023 with her needle felted creatures. Praise and enthusiasm for the intricacy of detail in her rendering of a variety of animals and birds have been awesome. She will teach you the basics of needle felting and share some of her tips on how to achieve form and details.

Just a reminder of last year’s exciting shows!
