A colourful exhibition of decorative and functional kiln formed glass highlighting unusual textures and unique forms will fill the main exhibition space at The Colborne Art Gallery from July 14th to August 19th 2012.
1500º Fahrenheit is the temperature at which the various elements of glass works fuse together. That is also the temperature at which science and technical skill meet with artistry in Mary Lou Burnside’s work. 1500º Fahrenheit promises to open our eyes to the wonderful transformative properties of glass and the inventive mind of Mary Lou Burnside. All are welcome to attend the opening reception to meet the artists and also enjoy a selection of new works by the members of The Colborne Art Gallery.
Opening reception July 14, 2012 from 2–4 pm.
The show continues through August 19th.
