CAG MEMBER ARTIST: 7 years
Elizabeth has earned the honour of standing in this month’s spotlight for having her painting “Awakening” chosen to represent our Opening Gallery Show of 2022!
Her bright, bold and fresh poppies express our joy that we are awakening to spring, and awakening to a new year of sharing ART. Thankful the Gallery once again is fully open for everyone to Enjoy!

Heather Roy is our communications director. Heather writes the Gallery Newsletters, and as well as ther thoughtful gleanings on the Gallery shows she is often out and about finding interesting venues for your visit to the Gallery and the community of Colborne and surrounding areas.
Heather’s large art in oils is thought provoking and often speaks to our humanity and life’s experiences. Her exquite work with encaustic (hot beeswax and pigments) is mesmerizing. This ancient artform is unique. Heather will be presenting a workshop on encaustic in September of 2022, so if you are interested to experience an introduction to this medium please let keep it in mind.
