Member of the Colborne Art Gallery from its beginning in May, 1997

Yoka Jeronimus

At the reception for the opening of Marion Meyers’ show “My Perspective on Windows and Doors” on June 9, 2018, the members of The Colborne Art Gallery said a reluctant fond farewell and thank you to Member Emeritus Yoka Jeronimus. Yoka retired after 21 years of active participation with the gallery. A founding member of the Colborne Society of Artists when the co-op was first formed in 1997, Yoka has worn several hats in the ensuing years: as artist, as administrator and finally, occupying the front desk and greeting visitors for the past several years. Always elegant, always gracious, always knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the artists’ work, Yoka will be sorely missed by members and visitors alike. Thank you for your very considerable part in the 21-year success of The Colborne Art Gallery, Yoka. We wish you all the very best in your retirement.
