Artwork due by May 6!
Calling all young artists in Northumberland — see your work displayed in The Colborne Art Gallery’s first-ever youth exhibition!
11-year-old Zoe Bergeron is the motivating force behind the idea of an exhibition for the youth of Northumberland County. Miss Bergeron approached The Colborne Art Gallery with a proposal and members have since been working collaboratively with Miss Bergeron to organize the show.
The call is open to all young people in Northumberland from grades 6 to 8 (ages 11-14). Any art media will be accepted, within an 18-by-18 inch size limit for 2-dimensional art. Any 3-D art should be within a 12-by-12-by-12 inch limit. Digital art will also be accepted, and will be shown in the gallery’s Media Room.
Each grade 6, 7 and 8 student in Northumberland County may enter one (1) piece of original art to the show. The work may be created at school or at home. There is no jurying process—all work will be accepted. Please enter your best work. We will return all art work. Artwork must reach The Colborne Art Gallery by May 6, 2016.
Please include on the back of each piece of work the following information:
